Camera angles.

When taking my pictures i will be using a range of different camera angles, the main picture on my front cover will be a medium close up of Holly's face. A medium close up is when the camera is close to the face but not too close because the shoulders are still included in the shot. I have chose this because my style models mainly feature medium close up shots and i feel like a medium close up shot will show the make up that Holly will have on.

For my contents page and double page spread i am planning to take a long shot of my actor. A long shot is where you can see the persons body i am doing this because this is also another shot that is often featured in my style models and i want my pictures to show the type of dress Holly will be wearing.

Props.

While thinking about all the aspects of Mise en scene i have decided that i will not be including any props in my pictures. I have decided to do this because i don't think adding any props will add anything that will further improve the way my pictures look. I also think props will make my pictures look too forced.

Costume for my pictures.

Costume:

For my pictures my actor Holly will be wearing a dress. I chose for holly to wear a dress because i want her to look smartly dressed and wearing this will create this look. The type of dress i want her to be wearing is a skater skirt style, these dresses are very girly and look good. Here is some examples of skater skirt dresses:

A skater dress popular thing to wear and is often included in the pop music magazine genre,which is what i am focusing my magazine on.

Make-up for my pictures.

Make up:

I want the makeup of my actor to look very natural, the eyes will have a small about of black eyeliner on it with a flick at the end of the eye and i want the lips to be a deep colour, like purple or red.  i want this because i feel like a natural make up will look very elegant along with the dress holly will be wearing.

I have decided my actor to feature in my magazine pictures will be Holly Hulse. I have chose holly because she enjoys performing arts and loves to act so i feel like she will be the best person to have on my front cover, she will be able to create the exact pose and position that i need her to.

The location of my music magazine pictures.

I have been thinking a lot about where i want my location of my pictures to be and i have decided to just have it on a blank backdrop like a brick wall or just a plain wall. Doing this will allow me to take out the background at a later date and add a colour of my choice to my pictures, also having a block colour as my background i could add writing and pictures to my background without the pictures looking too busy.

What i am planning to do.

This week i will be focusing on my actor, the location, the costume, props and the camera angles. This is what order i will be doing them in:

Firstly i will be planning how i want my pictures to look. I will be choosing a location for my picture, my location will fit in with how i want my magazine to look. Then after choosing my location i will focus on my actor who i have already chosen to be Holly Hulse. I will mainly be focusing on the things my actor Holly will be wearing in the pictures i will also decide if i want to include any props within my picture.  i will be blogging frequently throughout this week to show what i have been doing to create my music magazine pictures. After i have thought about all of these things and decided what i want my pictures to look like i will then starting taking my pictures.
